I am an editorial, corporate and commercial photographer based in St. Louis. Originally, from Southeast Missouri, I had my first front page photo published by the Sikeston Standard-Democrat at the age of 16. I did graduate work in journalism at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, while shooting two or three assignments a week for the Associated Press and teaching photojournalism and design. Prior to being recruited to St. Louis by The Sporting News, I worked at The Tennessean in Nashville, The Springfield Journal-Register, The Peoria Journal-Star, The Leader-Telegram in western Wisconsin and The Gazette in eastern Iowa. My work has been honored by NPPA's Best of Photojournalism, the Society of News Design, Gannett and the Associated Press.
